MIT hosts 37 acadmic Courses. Seven out of the 37 Courses offer no environmentally related subjects (8,16,18,20,21M, CMS, ROTC). While six of them offer one (6, 21F, HST, MAS, SP). This amounts to 35% of the offered Courses having one or less environmentally related subjects.
We looked at percentages of environmental classes subject offerings within the following Academic Courses:
Course 11 had the most courses offered accounting for 15% of the total department offerings. Surprisingly, with 24 courses, Course 1 has only 13% of its classes. In the table below we have listed each department with the number of undergraduate and graduate subjects with environmental content and included the total number of subjects offered.
